Plain-English version of what we collect, why, and the control you have over it.
Conistra is a service operated by Jules Ventures, a sole proprietorship based in Switzerland ("Conistra", "we", "us"). We are the controller responsible for your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). You can reach us any time at [email protected].
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website or use the Conistra application, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It applies to conistra.ai, app.conistra.ai, and related services.
We process your data on the basis of performance of a contract (to deliver the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (to secure, maintain, and improve the product), consent (for non-essential analytics and marketing, where required), and legal obligation (for example, tax and accounting records).
When you connect Instagram, we only access and use the data necessary to operate the posting features you've enabled. We store the necessary access credentials securely and use them solely to act on your behalf within the service. You can disconnect your account at any time, which revokes our access going forward. Your use of Instagram remains subject to Instagram's own terms and policies.
We use a small number of essential cookies needed for the site and app to function, and privacy-focused product analytics (hosted in the EU) to understand usage and improve the product. Analytics data is tied to your account only where necessary. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may affect functionality.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under appropriate agreements:
We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Some of our providers are located outside Switzerland and the EEA. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent mechanisms recognised under Swiss law.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local EU supervisory authority.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to notify you and the relevant authorities of any breach as required by law.
Conistra is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app.
